About me.

Danielle Syslo, M.A., LMFT #121820

(She/Her/Hers)

Hi! I’m Danielle! I came to the field of therapy after my own healing journey as a client. I know firsthand how daunting it can feel to reach out for help.  I also know how rewarding it can be when you choose to invest in therapy.  Investing in therapy is an investment in yourself.  Sitting with an attuned, caring professional can be life changing, leading to a stronger connection within yourself and your relationships.

I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I’ve trained at a number of sites around Los Angeles working with adult individuals and couples on a variety of issues including anxiety, codependency, trauma, addiction, grief/loss, sexual and intimacy disorders, life transitions and women’s issues.

In my work, I draw from a varied therapeutic skill set to best determine your unique needs, Utilizing a blend of psychodynamic and client- centered therapies, my methodology is infused with creativity, warmth and humor, as well as my own lived experience. I do my best work with creative and curious adults who are committed towards a deeper understanding of self and greater alignment with their values.
